Tom was first elected to Braintree District Council in 2011 and became a Parish Councillor in 2015. He joined the BDC Cabinet in 2014 and became Deputy Leader of the Council in 2019. Tom has been responsible for Economic Development since 2015, with responsibility for Town Centres and promoting prosperity. Tom is passionate about revitalising our town to meet the challenges of the future and was instrumental in getting Braintree District Council to commit to the exciting Victoria Square Development, the popular Street Markets and pedestrianising the High Street.
