Lewis Barber is the candidate for Constable Division. He has been elected to Colchester Borough Council since 2016, on which he serves as Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group. Lewis has recently started work at a law firm in Essex having achieved Distinctions in MA History and his LPC.
Louise McKinlay has lived in the Hutton and Shenfield area for the last 27 years, having gone to school in Brentwood before reading European Studies with French and Spanish at Loughborough University. Upon graduating, she went on to gain a Master of Science degree in International Relations.
Lynette is no stranger to local government, having previously been a Councillor on Braintree District Council for some 36 years. During that length of service, she spent her time serving as Chairman of the Council, as well as Chairing both Housing and Community Leisure Committees, and then ultimately becoming the Cabinet Member for Planning and Housing, a role in which she excelled at and thrived on.
Mark Durham has lived in and around Woodham Walter almost all of his life. Having been schooled in Little Baddow and Great Baddow he moved to London to study Hospitality Management. After spells working for Hilton and Sheraton Hotels he moved to the midlands to work in the brewing industry. Returning home to Woodham Walter in 1990 Mark ran the family business for 25 years.
Frinton and Walton has been Mark’s home since birth: he has been our elected County Councillor since 2017 Mark is married to Raluca and together they have two children both of whom, like Mark, live and work in our local community.
I have lived in Tendring most of my life, where I have run a plastering company with my brother for the last 30 years. I have two daughters who go to school locally. I am the Councillor for Burrsvill working with Chris Amos, a role in which I am serving my second term. I am chairman for Community Leadership Overview and Scrutiny.
