Mike Steel is Chelmsford City Cllr for the Broomfield and Walthams ward and Chairman of Great Waltham Parish Council. He has lived in the Chelmsford area for the last 40 years, and currently resides in Great Waltham
Paul has lived in the Clacton/Jaywick area for over 30 years and chose to raise his family here. Proud to call the Essex Sunshine Coast his home, he thinks more could be done to make it a better place to live and work.
Apart from 12 Years Royal Naval service, I have always lived in North Essex, flying Police Helicopters from 1996 to March 2020. My background of public service, and a DNA-dislike of wasted resources is central to my being, finding me a passionate representative on Parish, District &/or County Council since 1997.
Ross grew up in Witham, attending the John Bramston School, and has strong family links to the surrounding villages. Ross has always been involved in the community and for many years volunteered with Witham Boys' Brigade and Girls’ Association and is currently a bell-ringer at St.
Sam Kane has lived and worked in Waltham Abbey for 33 years. The family business he runs with his wife Helen has been providing employment in the area for 30 of those years. Together with his wife, Sam is actively involved with community projects and initiatives in and around the town.
Scott Griffin lives on Canvey Island. He has noticed the decline in crime, drugs, antisocial behaviour and emergency services on Canvey and the growing traffic, the poor quality of roads and the lack of infrastructure over the past 30 years.
